With a deep concern that just a few of our church members knew how to win the lost in our community we started a special evangelistic series on Wednesday nights entitled “Way of the Master”. We used videos, skits, discussion panels, homework and activities to creatively, step by step, persuade those who signed up for the class to reach family, friends, and strangers for Christ. With 150,000 people dying every day around the world, most without the Savior, the motivation to simply and biblically share the gospel was clear. By the end of February, we saw people each week receive Christ as their Savior all the way through graduation week the first week of April. One of the last tasks the student must accomplish is to accompany Regina, Pastor Dial or myself and use the tools they had learned during the course effectively on a complete stranger (not easy). During this time, 4 received Christ and our graduation party turned into a Salvation Celebration, the course was such a success we plan on incorporating it every year.
